Strictly speaking, I believe that "OK" is the more correct form, since the
term originated as an abbreviation -- see

It seems to me that "okay" is simply a spelling-out of the sounds.
Nevertheless I have to agree that "okay" _looks_ better. :) It's what I
generally write myself. And my dictionary supports both spellings.
