This thread is now banned as it seems to b not quite dying out,
and really is about culture and language, more than about fanfics,
or even particular fanfic.

The FFML is a place for fanfics, and the discussion thereof-- it is
not the place for discussing Japanese language, the usage of
English (or other languages) by the Japanese, or cultural differences
and/or phenomena.
