Mystery Fusion # 24
heh
The dust of the seemingly eternal waste drifted across the parched
and thirsty earth, swirling in gusting eddies away from a pair of
figures. The first, a man, large in stature, hair loose and flowing to
just past his shoulders, sunglasses hiding his eyes and lending him a
nearly expressionless gaze. His trench coat ruffled slightly in the
errant breeze, parting the material and revealing the large
cylindrical weapon in his hand, the end still glowing and warm, stray
vapors and mists boiling off of it.
you know... at first I thought it was bolt crank... and then you made
that reference to Riff and Torg... n.n;;;
There are an awful lot of similarities, at least in character design...
oh no... not... not the dragon Aylee... Dragon Aylee was one of the
cooler Aylees around... granted, the current Aylee is a nasty peice of
work... evil too... n.n;;;
Same persona, at least...
"Even... even the... why you? Why me?"
you don't mean... but Bun Bun _CAN'T_ die... Bun Bun is forever... Bun
Bun is eternal... oooh... Bun Bun as the eternal champion...
I couldn't write the scene with Eatman speaking to BunBun as he lay
dying and have it work remotely seriously...
So I wrote this, instead.
And I wonder where Torg's soul went after he died... he is wanted by the
dimension of pain... and he might go to heaven... but he and Riff did
traffic with demons... slayed one or two as well... n.n;;;
Good question. Riff/Bolt would probably wonder, too.
lucky. Screwed up. One experiment gone wrong, gave me what I have now."
blinks... you don't mean... you can't mean... Riff is... immortal now...
Yep.
"I don't know," he admitted after a moment. "Alien, I guess. You
just might have lived this long anyway. I know I got lucky. It was the
nanites. In part. Maybe you, too."
nanites... I'm getting a really bad feeling now...
Of course. I'm thinking a nanite colony makes a very good explanation
for Bolt's powers...
"You killed them," he said simply. "I always said you would, and
you did."
oh no... you didn't... argh!!! Aylee!
Hundreds of years after the far, he catches her.
"Learn," the creature gasped. "To learn. About humans."
blinks... but I thought that Aylee ended up on Torg and Riff's world
because of Riff's blunder with his invention while trying to get rid of
Bun Bun?
And it's a conflict between Aylee and Bun Bun that everyone else died
in...
Unless of course...you meant her reason for being on that ship in the
first place...
Yep. The hunter is meant to understand its prey...
"Goodbye, Aylee," he responded, rising to his feet. "But it's Bolt
Crank, now. And I guess I got a lot to do." He smirked, adjusting his
sunglasses. "And a lot of notes to take."
*thud*
I try.
bastard...
Thank you.
baka...
Completely deserved. ^_^;;
that's cruel and mean... teasing us like that.... we do not like that...
Chases Brian with the rest of the Princess Princess fan club... and
Aylee fan club and the Bun Bun henchmen/women/mini lop club...
Aaaiiiiee!
Who am I kidding? No one's going to get this one.
I did _get_ it...
Well, I hope you enjoyed it, at least. :p
