Ah! My Goddess: Mutant Thread
Not coming to a mailing list near you in 2001.
Oooh, Dark! ^_^
Yes, 2001 was a dark year. New year's toast: "May 2002 be nothing like
2001." ^_^;;;
THAT's a good intro for a 10-20k piece! ^_^
Ne, what can I say? Practice. ^_^;;;
Practice makes perfect!
Aye. -_-
Personally, I couldn't think of a better way to explain it other than just
jumping in and saying that that was the way things were going to be.
Da. Short pieces don't leave much room for exposition. (Which makes
short, *original* pieces that much harder...)
But if you're like T.H. Tiger, you can get people begging for more after
just a quick post...
Yep. Then spend so much time replying to the beg requests that you run
out of time to actually write more. ^_^;;;
Heh. Yup, that's basically how a true crossover would be: all the
really macho characters would be holding competitions. The winner
would be whichever author's favorite...
Who says there has to be a winner?
You mean EVERYONE's a winner?! ^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^
Winner, loser, depends on one's point of view. If some anti-macho
virus hit the area, rendering into wimps those who lived and died by
their muscles, I'd have a hard time honestly believing that all the
macho guys won... ^_^;
The Mashin vs. an EVA?
Okay, this idea stream has mutated far enough... for now.
Speedy Cervice: Why "Samurai Pizza Cats"? Well, it was that or "Teenage
Mutant Philospher Felines", and Guido figured we could get more pizza if
we were supposed to be making it ourselves.
That actually sounds like real dialogue from the translation/adaptation...
Hey, I liked SPC. It was... funky. ^_^
Da. I've been trying to work them into one of my long delayed non-mini
fics...
1: Usagi shows up in the FY universe, meets Tamahome, etc.
The problem with this is that Usagi and Miaka are not that
different, and as such there'd be little point in writing the story.
Miaki: Usagi? Hmm...yes, I *did* have a sister named Usagi. But one
day, she seemed to get pulled into a shonen manga, and we never saw her
again.
Okay, so NOW the plot seems viable. Usagi goes out and buys a shonen
manga by mistake (say, Kenshin or DBZ) and gets sucked in...
Usagi(reads the intro): To read this is an incantation...? Hey!
(Gets sucked in)
Haruka(picks up the manga): Hey, what's this?
Why does Miaka's friend look SO much like Haruka? Could there
be a connection? (shiftily looks around)
And is that why said friend was willing to go to such lengths to secure
romance, because her sister ran away with *her* girlfriend? ^_-
A little more and we'll have the ideal developed sufficiently...
Usagi then gets sucked from an early draft of the manga to the published
version (original season -> R), and has to come up with her own
justification for the universe's changes, never realizing that she's
acutally become the manga's new author...
2: Usagi gets into the regular SM series and instead of getting
Sailor Mercury for a partner, she starts collecting the Seishi...
This one would have to skip around a lot to avoid the monotony
of having to rewrite the entire series, but it would end with everyone
demanding to marry Usagi. Seeing her reaction is the point of this
one.
Or see the flip side to that: the regular SM senshi expressing similar
levels of affection for Usagi. Which has been done. ^_^;
Do you remember the title?
Well...I *could* plug my own lemon of Rei, um, expressing very much
affection for Usagi... ^_^;;;
("Learning to Love". 'Twas written on a dare.)
I remember a fic set in Crystal Tokyo, where Usagi went to each of the
Inners to celebrate her birthday; typical of the reactions was Makoto,
who nearly fainted when Usagi jokingly asked her to marry Usagi (who was
just showing appreciation for the food). Can't remember the title off
hand, though.
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, I can do better, if you *really* want... ^_^;;;
<SNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!!!>
A _little_ too much for GAILR!!!
Hmm. Probably a good decision to keep it a there-and-back rather than
round-the-world trip, then. ^_-
Good one! I think I might put this one in....
Wai! ^_^;
Overkill, but not too much kill in that first one you sent, forcing me
to adapt the scene as follows:

Glad I could help.
