I think the only way I have a chance of doing a good Harry Potter/Ranma cross, is with some active help.

I'm going to need a group of people who would be willing to brainstorm the story with me.
I will do the actual writing, but I need help developing a supporting cast in the 11 year old range.

five or six first year students should do the trick.

I will also need some help in deciding plot and story outlines.

The downside is that you won't get to wait for new chapters with fresh new events but will
sort of have them spoiled by helping to construct them.
for instance I will share back story of what has happened to the Ranma cast with them.


The upside, I hope, is that we can make a really good story.

I very much would like to outline a story that will cover one school year, and will
be a complete adventure in a length similar to one of the early books.

Hopefully there won't be any great conflict over story direction or characters.

Just to get the ball rolling, as well as seeing if anyone is interested, I need a specific character
for the train segment, and maybe even for the station one.

Kasumi is going to have to have a best friend.

They can be either male or female.
a first year student.
They meet on the train when he/she comes to peek at Harry.
Might show up in passing on the platform.

what sort of personality would be best?

They will need an interesting familiar, with its own personality.
either complimentary, or antagonistic to Shampoo.

A part of me is leaning toward a very young kitten.

Can you say Momma Shampoo. Bet Akane can.
that should drive Shampoo nuts^_^
