True. but just because someone can learn to play the Violin at four does 
not mean
they could learn to be a champion, oh, say golfer.
One does not lead to the other.
All Ranma's talents have been focused into a very narrow direction. He's 
the best
at what he does. but that does not mean he could be the best at something else.
On the other hand. He is eleven again.

Now, I've only seen the movie, but isn't the train ride in for new students
something of a tradition?  I mean, it wouldn't have been nothin for Hagrid
to take Harry with him to the school, but he had him take the train.

I think they meant together in the same train car. After all
Kasumi is pretty non-violent. Ranma and Akane on the other
hand, will fight anyone, anywhere.

True, and they are going to need a bit of extra instruction.
They will have to go into houses of course. And I suppose that almost means
that it will have to be Harry's.

I agree with you on this one. Even if they were told what
Harry did, why should they be impressed, he doesn't know how
he did it.

Oh, I don't know. Martial arts sometimes is about reacting without thought.
Results are what matters, and Harry is famous for a lot more than being
"The Boy who Didn't die" now.
He's gone toe to toe with Voldemort, and this time he lived on his own 
skill, and a bit
of luck of course.
