On this matter, let me say the Elektra situation will be resolved by the end
of this arc. If it still bothers you, I'll send you a spoiler as to what
will happen with Elektra which should satisfy you. It'll only concern her,
and not the resolution to the entire story.

 Elektra got her name for two

reasons.  She's Greek, and she was just a little bit _too_ attached to
her father.  Her whole original motivation was to avenge her doting
father's death, and of course Elektra was her real name.  Now Shampoo
isn't Greek, and doesn't have a father complex, and is working for a
Japanese ninja cult, so where'd she get the name?

She killed the original and took the name as a show of respect to her
opponent, combined with the fact and she needed a new name. Next chapter I
was planning on having one of the Legion ask her where she got the unusual
name and she explains to them the final initiating rite for her was combat
to the death between her and Elektra, the survivor being elevated to one of
the highest ranks among the guild.

As to the name thing, her original name of Shan Pu was 'lost' to her when
she was abducted by the Hand from the gang that had originally kidnapped her
and Mousse. The leader of the Hand hit team that found her sensed her
potential to be a superior warrior and took her under his tutelage instead
of getting rid of her. One of the first things he did in order to sever her
from her past and mold her into a deadly weapon was to symbolically 'kill'
her. From that point on he informed her that 'Shan Pu' was dead, and that
she would be known solely by the name of 'Initiate' until she rose to the
rank of master assassin, upon which she would be allowed to choose a name
for herself. As I said, upon killing the 'real' Elektra, she took on the
name as a show of respect. The two knew each other and got along surpringly
well in the months before the match, neither suspecting they would be
fighting each other. It was a set up, the friendship was what the Hand
wanted, since forcing one to kill the other would show the survivor that
they could be forced to sacrifice anything in obediance to the Hand.

Me, I'm thinking

"Black Widow" would be a better one.  It's another Daredevil
ex-supervillain martial artist girlfriend, and all you have to do is
give her a dead husband, you can justify it.

Already have things planned out concerning the Elektra situation. It's not a
bad idea, just that it won't work with what I have in mind.

Special Security forces, actually. They actually have some influence in the
government and military. They were formed as a sort of homegrown answer to
SHIELD, since the latter is more concerned with the world at large than any
one country. Kaori's got some pull in the government and is familiar with
more powerful officials, which will become important later.
