Ok. This is an extremely raw demo of my videofic for the song "Here Comes
The Sun", written by George Harrison. This is the first time I've ever
requested a pre-read on this type of a fic because so few people see the
videos as I see them in my head. But considering I liked the song and the
video came to me, not to mention the fact that the FFML has helped me in
many other facets of my work, I figured I'd submit my newest baby to the
list. My ownly request is that all comments be direxcted to me only for this
draft. This is a work in progress and i just need some fine tuning ideas.
When I post the finished version, all C&C can progress normally.

(The camera pans into various shots of Hikaru, Ryouga and Tatewaki sitting
in a hospital waiting room. All are looking anxious and hopeful, Tatewaki
and Ryouga hold hands as they sit while Gosunkugi merely watches the nurses'
station. As they all watch, the vocals lilt over the action..)
Gosunkugi: Here comes the sun (Du du du du)
Here comes the sun
And I say
It's alright
(The camera cuts to a shot of the band playing together in a small room.
Kodachi sits on a small stool and plays her harpischord directly across from
Ryouga who plays his bass standing up. Tatewaki is drumming behind a small
soundproofing wall and Gosunkugi is playing his guitar and singing into the
mic. All are wearing studio headphones and look intensely into the music.)
Gosunkugi: Little darling
It's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it's been here
(The screen pans through several shots of the band playing then the screen
dissolves back to a shot of Gosunkugi walking towards the nurses station.
His eyes are bleary and exhausted looking but an expectant, almost joyful
glare is inside of them. He leans against the divider and looks around the
corner into the hallway of the hospital ward. His mouth lightly sings the
words as he peers inside...)
Gosunkugi: Here comes the sun (Du du du du)
Here comes the sun
And I say
It's alright
(Slowly, the screen fades to a shot of the entire band bringing Kodachi to
the very same hospital in the not too far distant past, the girl looking
rough around the edges. Gosukugi is being comforted by Ryouga while Tatewaki
carries his sister inside the ward. Shots of the band signing papers,
crying, and then leaving the hospital fade by as the song continues.)
Gosunkugi: Little darling
The smiles returning to the faces
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been here
(The shot turns back to Ryouga and Tatewaki in the present, Ryouga's head
gently resting on Tatewaki's shoulder. The kendoist stares off into the
distant space with a peaceful, contented expression while the boy on his
shoulder clings to Tatewaki with all he has. His eyes are anxious and
worried. Ryouga mouths the song as well, his body shivering with fear.)
Gosunkugi: Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
And I say
It's alright
(Soon the nurses acknowledge Gosunkugi as the camera pans back to the boy
and he watches as the doors open and a slight figure emerges from the
hallway. He can't see her as a blast of light seems to be emninating from
behind the form...)
Gosunkugi: Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
(He peers hard and sees the figure emerge. It's a girl with long black hair
and a set of modest yet womanly clothes on.)
Gosunkugi: Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
(Time slows down as both of the boys on the bench see them as well. The
camera moves around to their view of the girl emerging from the hallway, her
features becoming clearer and clearer with every second...)
Gosunkugi: Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
(Soon they all realize that it's Kodachi and she looks at Gosunkugi with a
shocked expression on her face. The screen circles around the both of them
as they look at each other for the first time in a long time...)
Gosunkugi: Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
(Tatewaki and Ryouga have risen and come up behind Gosunkugi, a few paces
off but still close enough to see the joy on their faces as well as Gos's.
His face seems almost bright enough to burn the surface of anything he was
to look at...)
Gosunkugi: Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
(With a joyous leap, Kodachi runs forward and glomps onto Gosunkugi with all
her might. Tears of joy are already flowing down her cheeks and his as they
embrace, followed closely after by Ryouga and Tatewaki. The four of them
share a tight group hug and all cry with the tears of reuniting joy.)
Gosunkugi: Little darling
I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been clear
(They all separate, oblivious to everyone else in the waiting room, only
knowing their own joy. Gosunkugi nods to the rest and they all nod in
return, signalling their walk out of the hospital. Gosunkugi takes Kodachi's
hand and they walk out first, Tatewaki and Ryouga bringing up the rear...)
Gosunkugi: Here comes the sun (Du du du du)
Here comes the sun
And I say
It's alright
(As they walk out the entire band starts singing the lines to the song as
loud as they can, each pairing locked in a grip of love and friendship. The
people in the waiting room all stare but from the look of joy on their
faces, none of them care.)
All: Here comes the sun (Du du du du)
Here comes the sun
It's alright
It's alright
(The camera turns and watches them go out the main swinging doors, the
sunlight filtering in and shining bright. As they disappear through the
doors into the bright, joyful sunshine, the screen fades to white.)
