Personally, I'd avoid naming any world New Earth, Terra Two, New Terra or
anything like that. Seems like bad things always happen to worlds with those
names.
Yes, but Tenchi's very new at this 'emperoring' business...
the reavers won't know how to activate the gate, even if it's just a
simple button-press.
I'd suggest adding a few more security measures just in case.
Paranoia wins.
I really don't like that idea very much. They're dangerous and primitive
weapons,
Once I thought that also. Recently, I realised that nukes may remain the
mainstay of a spacefaring species even when it has developed the tech to
create more potent weapons. For their destructiveness, nukes are very easy
to build, maintain and the safest to store. They won't detonate if their
containment fails, such as on antimatter based weapons, for example.
But they also won't penetrate Light Hawk Wings. There's another
reason not to use them, though it's relarively minor on the scale of
things... but you'll see. ;)
I can reassemble the nuclear weapons you have to power them!
Good idea, but I think the carrier's nuclear reactor would provide a better
power supply.
The Kitty Hawk doesn't have a nuclear reactor -- check it out here:

The Louisiana and the Maine have nuclear reactors, though.
