    I would have thought that Mutsumi would've made a better Misato, with
Motoko as Rei...

well, my reasoning was that a warrior would be the most suitable
person for cmdr operations. also irony of motoko commanding giant
turtles when she is terrified of them. couldn't fit that into the
spamfic though.

    Mitsune as Gendo... So who's Yui?

couldn't resist the above after the Love Hina ep which parodied
Eva with the Giant Mecha Tamago (2?) also with Motoko vs. her
sister's feminine clothes. Kitsune was the commander (shirei)
and did that Gendo pose at the desk.

Yui... prob Haruka but she refused.

    Eh? Odd choice... Haruka might've been better, since she's so mellow
anyway. Besdies, a chain-smoking Rei Ayanami would just be hilarious.

Haruka? Mellow? hmmm. i guess the manga version is a stronger
influence on my writing. anything but mellow. just laconic.

As for Kanako, i was going for that brother/sister relation thing
b/w shinji and rei // keitaro and kanako.

hear hear! thought that LH should be quite fic-able but surprised
at how little of it we've seen on the ffml. there is a lhml though.
