Disclaimer: Ranma is not mine. NOW READ.
Ranma felt the spear of shock
for the very first time.
When he opened his eyes, the view
suddenly changed. No longer was a
Japanese suburban community; the trees
replaced the buildings, and the grass
and flora replaced the streets and
roads.
"Ryouga? Where the hell are you
Ryouga," Ranma called out, trying to
reassure that what he was seeing could
not be real and that he was still
dreaming.
No one answered him.
"Dammit Ryouga, this isn't funny,"
slightly panicked Ranma. He could not
believe he wasn't in Nerima.
He closed his eyes for a minute,
and opened them again.
Ranma then realized that all of
his surroundings was all real. From
the bushel of leaves of the crowded
trees to the ferns and the wild
flowers scattered around the earth,
everything was no imagination. Ranma
touched the plants to make sure.
Yep, felt real.
"Okay... I'm not dreaming."
Ranma tried to think clearly
about what he had to do, but he let
his anger take over in a minute.
"Damn you Ryouga, damn you. What
can possibly make you hate me so much,"
angrily wondered Ranma as he pounded
the earth with his fists. He thought
back on how did Ryouga managed to bring
him here. That stick thingy must be
reason why he was here right now.
Then Ranma then saw the reason for his
transportation; Now with him out of
the way, Ryouga might as well gloat on
how he "defeated" Ranma Soatome.
Then Ranma stood up. He couldn't
let Ryouga have the last laugh. He was
Ranma Soatome damn it! He never loses!
He was going to prove Ryouga wrong.
He is not yet defeated.
But first things first, he had to
survive in this strange world.
Ranma took any path in the dark
deep forest. While walking
surroundings. It looked like he was in
the middle of a forest. All around
were tall trees that sprang high as if
they reached the sky, and their
branches touched each other that looked
as if they were connected like bridges.
Wildflowers, some in various colors
or just filled with leaves, lay
scattered of bunched up on the earth,
covered with grass. He saw a few
wildlife, such as a deer, two rabbits
scurried past him, and a strange
looking creature that was sort of
half-squirrel and cat that climbed up
the trees, managing to intercept a
small bird and consumed it, much to
Ranma's disgust. But Ranma was awed
at the beauty of the forest. It was
entirely different from the forests of
Ryuugenzawa. As much as enjoying the
sight, Ranma had to find some sign of
civilization, and hoped that it would
friendly enough to welcome him.
===================================
Ranma walked for days endlessly
in the forest. So far, there was still
no sight of any hints of civilization.
Ranma was quickly losing patience,
and began to run at the direction he
was taking, while cursing at Ryouga.
Ranma ran, still hoping to see anything
that could be considered a building.
Suddenly, when he tripped and fell on
a hard surface, he looked and saw a
paved road, consisting of smoothened
bricks and stone. Also included the
road was a signpost, with three
different signs nailed to a post, and
a piece of written paper attached to
the post by a dagger.
The signs read:
<- Fariedle Farmlands and Fariedle Checkpoint
-> Kernsen Forest
^ Hiemsdale and Trade post
Also, the letter read:
A T T E N T I O N !
All citizens of Culendhust are ordered
on alert! Orc raids have increased
threefold since last Unicorn's Day.
Cooperate with the National Guard and
be sure to hire guards if traveling in
a caravan. This is to maintain the
flow of trade and security. If you
spot any orcs, be sure to contact the
nearest guard or garrison personnel.
Although Ranma tried to make
sense of those words, the written
language had totally stumbled him.
But he knew that the words looked
somewhat familiar to English, and
secretly wished he had payed more
attention in Hinako's English class.
The best Ranma could do was looking at
where the sign towards the city pointed
at, and hoped he was heading towards
the right direction. After a hour's
walk, he saw the distant image of a
town or city and was glad that he was
in the right direction.
========================================
========================================
The trade town of Hiemsdale
========================================
The Culendhust Trade Republic was
a country formed by a group of city
states. Each state had the main capital
city and it's trade towns connecting to
other trade towns. The trade towns were
set up near valuable resources which
were either lumber, minerals, and any
other valuable sources which also include
food. In fact, The Republic's lands had
vast forests and fertile grasslands
which gave food surplus to the cities and
towns, and also transformed the Republic
into the #1 food exporter of the
continent of Lotheria.
The Republic is governed by the
council, which consists of representives
elected from the peoples of the trade
cities, and the elected Supreme
Councellor. After the Horde Wars, the
Supreme Councellor was Sir Horam
Kielenzesht, a world famous mercenary who
bravely faced the dark armies of the
orc mage Liejesoc and found the Republic
in hopes that a republic was much
stronger than a monarchy since it was
backed by the voices of the people. But
the reason why it was called the
Culendhust Republic was because the
whole region was between the surrounding
mountain peaks was name Culendhust
Mountains, dicovered by Explorer
Culendhust.
Hiemsdale was part of the 24 trade
towns of the Republic. Although the town
was not near suitable farmlands, it had
a good trade supply of lumber and furs.
Clothing is also a major trade commodity
in the town, since there were a good
number of clothing and fashion shops for
the common and merchantile people.
Hiemsdale was also a trade post for
cattle from the south and grain from the
east, connecting to the City of Mirewood
to the east, past the Kernsen Forests.
Also, Hiemsdale was famous for it's
Heyberry Wood Ale, which had a sweet,
woody taste, appreciated by commoners
and merchants, and it's inns, which
are highly competitives, serving the
finest dinners, softest beds, and
presenting the best room service. Such
examples would be the rowdy The Laughing
Cow Inn, or the homely The Hen's Silk Inn.
There were some reports of prostitution
within The Laughing Cow, but that
still remains to be affirmed.

=========================================
When Ranma entered Hiemsdale, he
was in awe. Every building had looked
like the European mideival buildings
he had seen on TV. The houses were
built Norman style, with rooftiles
and wooden beams, and the body built
with plaster, and bricks or stone. The
other buildings that had more elaborate
achitecture, with a huge top dome of
glass, statues of former respected
merchantmen on the steps. The residence
was also connected to a garden with a
field of flowers, and a fountain in the
center. The shops had the own buildings,
some of the rich shops had a huge display
window to display their goods to entice
the bystanders to come in and purchase.
He could see the square was bustling
with activity, with people walking to
work or buying goods, and merchants
selling their wares. The common people,
men wore woven shirts and pants and the
women wore a simple dress with mostly
dark blue or a dull green color. The
lower merchants, wore the same as the
the common people, but had on a cape and
hood, and can be seen with a pack holding
their merchandise. Some merchants did
not have capes, but instaead wore leather
aprons, such as the butcher or a merchant
that kind of surprised Ranma with his loud
voice, trying to convince him to buy his
"freshest" fish. Although Ranma couldn't
understand him, he could tell what he
was implying by his actions. But the
rich merchants had tunics and
pantaloons that were in vibrant colors
that were considered to be the latest
fashion. The rich women wore dresses of
silk and were decorated in gaudy jewelery,
and their faces heavily covered in makeup.
Ranma also noticed an armored person whom
heprobably was a guard. The guard was
wearing a uniform of woven blue with an
insignia on the front of chest that looked
like mountain with a star, hailed by a
hammer and sickle. The uniform was on top
of worn chainmail that reached to his body
and legs. The guard wielded a halberd,
while standing vigilant amongst
the crowd. Ranma was so excited, he
had almost forgotten his problem. This
felt like the places Hiroshi and Daisuke
made with that game Dungeons & Dragons.
Ranma walked by, seeing the sights
and looking at the buildings, streets,
and the people that occupy it. He came
across the building that seemed like a
bakery because of the diplayed baked
goods within the building. As he looked
inside, he could see people baking and
selling fresh bread and pastries. The
smell brought a grumbling in Ranma's
stomach. He decided to enter the bakery
shop. As Ranma entered the shop, eyeing
the people that were kind of staring at him.
He realized they probably thought of him
as a foreigner because of his racial
looks and his Chinese clothing. He noticed
a bearded man in a leather apron signalling
him to come to the wooden counter to
give him his order. He nervously went up
to the counter.
"What do ye want," asked the bakery
seller.
Ranma couldn't say anything. He was
afraid because he knew he couldn't
understand neither speak their language.
He started to walk away to save face, but
he was stopped when his arm was held by
the rough hand of the bakery seller. The
merchant held out his hand, giving Ranma
the "Give me what you have" look. The
young martial artist offered his yen coins,
only to have them thrown down at the floor.
"GET OUT! HOW DARE YE TRY TO PLAY
FOOLERY UPON A SIMPLE MERCHANT! GET OUT,"
yelled the bakery seller. Around the
young boy, the customers laughed, finding
the whole situation amusing. Ranma, full
of shame and anger, held back his shame
and stormed out of the bakery. Apparently,
the baker's daughter, a pretty blonde lass
of about thirteen, took pity on the
foriegner and snuck a bread out of the
pantry and exited the bakery when her
father wasn't looking.
Before Ranma was far from the bakery,
he was stopped by a girl. She offered
and forced the bread on his hand before
he could say or do anything. The girl
smiled before she returned to her workplace.
Ranma smiled, glad that there was some
kindness in this strange world.
As Ranma explored a bit more, he
then saw a crowd surrounding an area
unseen to him because the view was blocked
by a pack of people. He could hear whispers
and hollers, and finding it hard to know
what was going on because he could not
understand the langauge. Determining a
way to find out about the occuring event,
the martial artist forced his way through
the crowd.
====================
====================
"Where're ye goin' orc bitch?"
Giel' Kre found her self
surrounded by guards, with a lecherous
gleam in their eyes. Fear crept inside
of her, and she was hoping that she
could make her way without any abuse.
"I merely seek only to make my
way without molestation," nervously
answered the half-orc girl. Inside, she
was mentally praying to Alumon for mercy.
"Yer under arrest orc. You shouldn't
come here. Yer presence brings insult to
this fine society. Either become a nice
bitch and come with us, or the we will have
to resort to other, painful means,"
threatened the guard who seemed to be the
head of the group.
Giel'Kre then tried to make a run for it.
But her arm was caught, and she was
pulled back to the arms of a guard. The
guard squeezed her chest, and Giel'Kre,
full of anger and womanly shame, slammed
her fist on the guard's face, breaking his
nose and teeth. She then threw the guard
that was on her back and tried to run.
But nevertheless, the half orc's way was
blocked by three guards, and the whole
squad tackled her to the ground.
=============
As Ranma forced his way through the
crowd, he could see a fight happening.
But Ranma realized that this was no
fight; it was a green-skinned woman being
ganged up by armed men on the ground.
=============
"C'mon orc bitch!"
Giel'Kre was on the ground, full
of shame and humiliation as the guards
started kicking her, calling names and
throwing insults at her. She felt a
punch making contact on her face.
"That's for face bitch," spitted
the guard with the now bloodied face.
Although she was stronger than the average
human, Giel'Kre was seriously outnumbered,
5 to 1. Five guards surrounded her, spitted
at her face while molesting her body.
She could see the crowd looking at her, but
with no intention of stopping this.
Giel'Kre lost all hope, and started to
break down and cry when the guards started to
rip her clothing with their daggers.
=============
Ranma was in rage. Albeit the people
were uncaring about him because of his
foreign appearance and lack of understanding
of their language, but the young boy was
enraged that noone from the crowd either had
the courage or the want to put a stop to this
cruel treatment of the green-skinned girl.
When he heard the sound of cloth ripping,
Ranma decided it was up to him to stop this.
=============
"Hey, you dishonorable bastards!"
The armed bastards now had Ranma's
attention.
"Who the bloody hell is that
brat, and what the hell he's sayin'," annoying
asked Miefrat, who was one of the guards
involved.
"Dunno Meifrat, seems this kid
wants to play hero," answered another
guard named Beak.
"Well bloody tell him to mind
his own business," ordered Meifrat.
"Hey kid," hollered Beak.
"Mind yer own business. No need to
be concerned about this orc bitch.
Go play with yer pappy or somethin',
or unless ya can't speak Common?"
The guards laughed at Beak's
horrible joke.
Ranma, seeing that the guards
would not cooperate, charged at them,
launching a kick that disabled the
guard holding down the half-orc's
legs.
"That's it! Men, beat the shit
out of this brat," ordered Meifrat.
Ranma's quick reflexes and
agility were too fast for the men
in armor. He swerved left and right,
casually avoiding swings from swords
and landed a spinning side-kick to a
guards head. Ranma then leaped out
of the three men surrounding him,
did a combination of kicks that
finished off the remaining guards
charging towards him.
Ranma mentally patted himself
for a job well done. He walked over
where the half-orc girl was standing.
The orc girl had human features on
her, bit she was a bit taller, had
slighty wider and stronger cheek and
jawbones, and her skin was a smooth
green, but dirtied with dirt and
filth. Her face, although a bit
squarish and her head was slightly
bigger, was kind of cute to him.
Her was long and black, but
disheveled through abuse. Her state
made Ranma want to help her in any
way he can. He offered his hand,
concerned about helping the girl in
any way he can.
======
Giel'Kre looked in shock as the
young boy easily defeated the guards
weaponless. The wretched guards had
swords, but none of them could be able
to make contact with him. She was in
awe of that boy's skillful but deadly
dance that evaded the blows with
skillful grace and attacks that
rendered the guards unconscious. When
the strange, clothed boy approached
her, she was a bit nervous since her
past experiences with humans. But
instead of striking her, he smiled at
her. It wasn't a mocking smile, but
a warm smile that promised
companionship and trust. As he held
out his hand, she accepted and took in
that wonderful smile.
