I liked that.

I think it only fair to see an aspect of Ranma's mother that goes way beyond the perfect lady stereotype.

She is human, after all. Dying of starvation isn't exactly a nice way to go.

In a way, this fic has made Nodoka a far more interesting character.

I think a very interesting story could come about as these pictures, one day, come back to haunt her. It may also drive the point home about the terrible debt her husband owes his wife.

Isn't abandonment and kidnapping grounds for divorce and legal action (taking off with Ranma and disappearing for years)? The fact that she lived with it and never stopped believing that they would come home, someday, gives you some idea as to how strong she is... and how far she would go if she really needed to.

I would be quite curious to see this picture of her that would inspire such a story out of you.
