-Nessecities- By Dewin Duvae
She watched as the atmosphere of Mars burned. As the people, the children, the women, everyone ran through the inferno trying to get to shelter, desperately trying to find a ship, anything, Fire in their lungs and everywhere around them. They should have been dead, yet they weren't, they struggled on.
She watched as children lay abandoned on Mercury. Their parents bodies already cold beside them.
Jupiter was completely devoid of life. Noone even had a clue of what had happened. One second they were alive, vibrant and talking. The next, gone. Erased from existence.
On Loki they had all known. But nothing was done. They just sat there, their faces completely devoid of life. There were no ships on Loki, nothing close by, except for Nemesis looming over their heads becoming bigger and bigger until...
She watched, and she cried. She didn't even move to dry her tears, they were a slow tendril from her eyes to her cheeks and then drops to the floor. She never wavered.
She watched and she cried and she kept repeating to herself. "It's necessary. It's necessary..."

She jerked to violently. "Setsuna mamma?" She gasped for air feeling as if she'd run a hundred miles. "Setsuna?" She didn't know who, and she didn't care. she just wanted to be alone. "Setsuna?" Suddenly something was holding her tightly. Wrapped all around her. Instead of struggling she just fell in on herself and cried.
"Calm down Setsuna. We're here with you, it's not that bad."
She wasn't really listening. She just repeated the same phrase to herself.
Michiru looked at the television and gasped. "Haruka! That plane.." She turned green as it hit. Without any further thought, she stretched for the control and shut it off.
Setsuna just mumbled to herself. "It's necessary. It's necessary. It's necessary..."

Authors notes:Generally I wouldn't even consider reposting this so close to my last post. I'd just wait until the next in the series was written and go from there. In this case, it's stand-alone and the title is misspelled. That would have stopped me from reading. (Not that I would have noticed this particular misspelling.)
I still don't like what happened or what's described. That does NOT mean I don't care for it and am not proud of it. (This one especially is well-written in my eyes.) I don't like it because of the images that keep replaying behind my eye-lids. Add what Setsuna is seeing to what might have been inside the building at impact.
I DON'T ENJOY THAT! still. It's one of the best things I've ever written to my eyes. so...
If you liked this version better, Heck, if you READ this version instead. I'm glad.

I don't think.
I write!
