While my perspective is that THEY should ask ME before they posted, I
did indeed write and ask them to take it down. No response, so far.

       I've done the same thing, Cyber. I wrote them just as soon
as June Geraci informed me of the presence of my stories on their
site. That was Thursday afternoon, my time. It's Friday evening,
and I still haven't gotten any response, not even a form letter.

       And before anyone says "that's not enough time", please
remember that this IS the information age. It didn't take me
any longer than five minutes to surf to Google.com, find the
closest Canadian consulate to Colorado, and get their phone
number. Ten minutes after that, I had the phone numbers for
the Ontario Better Business Bureau AND the number for the
Ontario Solicitor General (the Canadian version of an attorney
general, for those unfamiliar with the term).

       Fifteen minutes. That's ALL. And MediaMiner's had well
over twenty-four _hours_. Either the person behind MediaMiner
is horrendously slow, deliberately careless, overwhelmed by the
number of complaints (which in and of itself argues that there
_is_ something rotten in the state of Denmark) or he's
utterly contemptuous of us.

       As you can probably tell, I'm less than satisfied with
the 'response' Media Miner has given me. I'm willing to wait
for a few more days, given that this weekend is an important
legal holiday, but if I don't get any replies from MM before
the 15th of November, I'm declaring war.

       It's that simple.
