Well, I can't answer that directly, but there was a
'flap' several years ago when a teacher killed a
young honor student when she was running into school
late, for the first time. He slammed the gate to keep
her from entering and crushed her head. I'm not sure
of the dispostion of the case, but I don't believe he
recieved any jail time.

And teachers are involved with students off campus,
often enforcing dress codes, no-smoking rules, etc.

So, I think it's plausible, but don't _know_.

This was rather interesting and I'm glad you sent
it, but after reading it
I'm wondering about something that is somewhat
common among fanfics
(Ranma/SM crossovers, primarily). These fics
usually have Ranma being
dragged to school by a cop, and the school just
happens to be the one all
the senshi go to. Would this really happen, if
Ranma isn't causing any kind
of trouble, or is it just an easy way for the author
to get him to school,
with no real regard for whether it would really
happen?
