Since this has the potential to be a big issue and to prevent the list from being unnecessarily overspammed by debate, I'm going to step in and help on this one.

If you feel your work has been violated by MediaMiner, please contact me at rob@mitsukai.com with the subject header FAAMP!.  I will be creating the FAAMMP! (Fan Artisans Against MediaMiner Piracy) website this weekend, and I can add your name and site to it.  I will represent both fanartists and fanfic authors, so please forward this message to whomever has been affected by this.  AGAIN, DO NOT SPAM THE LIST.  If anyone wishes to contribute to the effort, please let me know, as we could probably use some anti-piracy articles and whatnot.
I realize this is a gray area and in a sense odd, as fanfics have debatable legality, but this could be the potential for a copyright crackdown, which could potentially shut the fanfic world down, merely because of the shortsightedness of MediaMiner.
Thanks for your time,
Rob
