Those who would like to discuss this topic further are encouraged to take

BTW, it sounds like every author who has works posted on MediaMiner.org
has had an account automatically created for them. If that's the case, you
can use their "Lost Password" feature to retrieve your password via
e-mail, and then log in to edit/delete your fanfics.
