Ranma stared at most of the Tendo family ( Akane was in
the insane asylum about three doors down from Tatewaki Kuno
and about a floor higher that Kodachi Kuno.)  " All right
Nabiki and I have figured out when the demons most probably
attacked your mother. "

"I have received the Nanban brand Magic Mirrors, that we'll
need and made arrangements for Cologne to act as anchor on
this end."

"The rest of us will go back in time, most of you will be
hiding so as to not encounter your younger selves or
accidentally change some part of past we don't want
changed."

"The demons originally appeared to be two in number but I
have been checking the records and it would take at least
two to kill your mother in the way they did. Since I killed
one of them in the present, that means there must have been
at least three and probably more and they likely summoned
the past version of the one I killed. Either way that makes
at least four. "

"None of you are armed with any demon killing weapons. I
can't get any before we have to leave either. The most I
could do was get some Invisibility from all Demons amulets.
Each of you will  receive one of them, as will Cologne."

"Cologne has agreed to help us as I have proven my self to
be an honorary Amazon in my own world. This means her
Great-Granddaughter will be free of her geas to either wed
me or bed me or kill me or preferably all three. Her holding
a linked mirror in this present will enable us to make
changes to the past and present without creating a new
alternate world."

"Soun, you and Kasumi will keep an eye on your family. You
will resemble your past self enough to pass a casual glance.
Kasumi can claim to be a visiting cousin or other relative.
She has the closest physical resemblance to her mother of
any of the daughters except Akane. Shame about her nervous
breakdown, Akane would be real help with this mission."

"Nabiki I want you to help me do a preliminary search of the
area and a study of the records of the time. I have recorded
all of the newspapers from the historical records from about
two years before we arrive to the present. I also have a
storage module for my home computer which has the Tokyo
Times for the same era. "

"I will use my abilities to determine if the demons are
already there and if they have attacked your mother yet.

"Are there any questions?"

"Yes, Soun?"

"Why do we have to be in such a hurry? Why can't we wait and
get better equipment?"

"Because the longer we wait the more stable the current
timeline becomes. Right now we only have to defeat the
demons and the world will automatically go back to the
timeline I lived in. In a week, it will change in random
ways, very possibly for the worse. You saw the photgraphs
and heard my description of that world. Do you really want
to risk having it altered to something worse that this
world.?"

All right if there aren't any more questions? Everyone get
some sleep tomorrow we start!"
