I'm afraid I must disagree. Spider-Man, at least as far as I know, is an
Avengers Reserve Member. Furthermore, he is on close terms with the FF, in
fact, they consider him a friend.
Speaking of Spidey, was last page of ASM #35(vol. 2) a kicker or what? If you
haven't seen it, its this; Aunt May in Peter's apartment staring at his
costume which was lying on the floor. But that's beside the point. Getting
back on topic, The answer would be yes, Spidey would have a reason to show
up, particularly if the going-ons were enough to attract his attention.
