Well, first of all, I did enjoy it... but there is a point you simply cannot ignore and, IMHO, you should change as soon as possible.

Fact is... the "terrorrist" part in conjunction with the "bible" part (you know what I'm talking about) border on Religious Flame, especially in recent times due to September 11th terrorrist attack. It simply strikes too many nerves.

You do bring some interesting points in the terrorrist's line of thought, in that he views himself as striking down people that are guilty of abominable crimes (sort of "a tooth for a tooth"), but following that line of thought we can't ignore that in the Coran (I hope I'm not misspelling it... if I am, sorry!) it is also clearly stated that suicide is punished with Hell (or something like it), which makes me think if his reasoning was really sound or if he merely did not know of THAT part.

Religious technicalities aside (reply PRIVATELY if you intend to talk about them), the big problem is that everyone's a lot more than "touchy" about terrorrism, especially regarding Radical Islamic Fundamentalist groups. More than a few people will see your fic as a way of saying "Islam is a bad religion, while Christianity is Supreme" even though I doubt that is anywhere near what you intended.

Therefore, I'd suggest you either:

a) drop/change the terrorrist scene to eliminate the "Islam-bashing" feeling; (I'd do this one)
b) drop the "Bible" scene instead so as to not establish an Evil-Good parallelism between both Faiths.

If you wish it so, you merely need no turn the terrorrist into another (maybe even imaginary) "Ethos". Make him of some weird cult or a radical anti-technologist or anything. Just AVOID anything that can inflame tempers like the plague!!!

However, I'd suggest merely having someone hired to plant a bomb, then have it detonated by remote.

Finally, this isn't just aimed at Mr. Herriot... It's something everyone MUST keep in mind. The FFML has people of all kinds of religions, ethnic groups, political beliefs, etc. Anything you write might offend someone if you don't take precautions. I've noticed many times blatant (or not-so-blatant) bashings in many fics... I won't single out any, though.
