Why not make it Akane and no Magic Mallets. She could learn
real world martial arts, maybe here she is as good as Ranma
is at home, at learning things.

How about a Saiyan with no extra high Ki levels. How would
Vegita react to having to learn Karate or Ju-Jitsu in order
to return? The way a human does, slowly and painfully. Could
he even do it?
