Just to set the record straight on this....

1) Yes, this fic has been posted before. In fact, this is the third or
fourth posting for it, and it doesn't appear that it's been revised in
any way.

2) The fic that inspired this one (actually, "inspired" is a gross
understatement, but we'll get to that) is "Final Decision" by Cyberdine,
in which Ranma suddenly decides to announce that he's chosen Nabiki. The
one you're obviously thinking of, "Ranma Makes A Decision," is a parody
I wrote of that one in which Ranma takes the bold step of choosing his
favorite variety of peanut butter. (No jelly was involved, as this
would've been too radical a commitment for our hero.)

3) My curiosity piqued, I looked back at Cyberdine's fic and compared it
with this one. It turns out that nearly everything in this fic can be
found in Cyberdine's. A good amount of snipping and condensing was
obviously done, but almost none of this one seems to actually be new. To
be fair, credit *was* given, if not at a level commensurate with the
amount that was "borrowed." Still, I have to wonder what the point of
posting a fic when this little of it can really be called yours -- let
alone reposting it every few months without doing anything to address
the glaring problems with it that everyone's pointed out.
