I'm back.  Did anyone miss me? =^_^=

For what it's worth, I didn't really leave, I just kinda started 
relegating all of the FFML posts to a folder that I periodically 
deleted.  Several reasons, but the biggest reason was that...well, 
there's been a change in life for me.  Martha Stewart be damned, it's a 
good thing.  Read on.

OK, here's what's up, stupid yet silly memes perpetrated by beer 
commercials aside.

First: no, UB is not done.  Yes, my wife and I are going to contin---

What? What are you looking at me like that for? 

Well, OK, I married my coauthor.  In the process of the time that 
Karmin and I had worked on and put on hold UB, she and I married.  We 
weren't really expecting it, it just kind of crept up on us.  =^_^=  
It's also decidedly weird that what initially brought us together was a 
character that, in the canonical Tenchi Muyo universe, had watched as 
Kain eviscerated him, which pretty much ruined his whole day.

(To diverge from the topic, we had seen each other twice before I flew 
her out to CA.  The first time, I flew out to western MA, which I can 
assure you is of no cultural significance unless you're into basketball 
or volleyball - and even then the only live culture can be found in a 
container of yogurt in the local Stop n' Shop.  The second was when she 
first flew to Anime Central 2000. I then flew her out here to southern 
CA, where I proposed to her.  But that becomes a different story, and I 
digress.)

But this aside, now that the debris from the wedding has more or less 
cleared up, along with the debris of converting my computer from an 
OS/2 system to a Linux system, we plan on picking up where we left off 
- which is a couple of chapters ahead of what's been released.  (OK, 
more like 4 or 5.)  So for the two fans out there, take heart, it will 
be continuing. =^^=

As for previous chapters, there've been a few minor changes. Mostly 
syntactic changes and punctuation changes, along with standardizing the 
title headers, but no changes in story line.  In any case, just to 
refresh things, I'll be posting them a chapter at a time over the next 
couple of weeks, along with sending copies to Gensao if he's still out 
there.  

(I've kinda lost track of the archive sites, being a bit out of the 
loop.  Love tends to do that to you - takes you out of the loop.)

With that, there's not that much more to say, just watch for Unfinished 
Fanfic^H^H^H^H^H^HBusiness if you were wondering where it went. =^^=
