Apologies.  I tend to mix OVA and TV continuities when I do TM.  Note,
for instance, the description of Washu's lab, oriented more towards OVA
Washu than TV Washu.  (But in this case, one could always pull the old
"they didn't find a body" cliche: have the Emperor et al presumed dead
but actually in hiding, coming out only after Tenchi defeats
Kagato...which would also explain his increased tolerance of Tenchi, if
mere resignation to accepting his daughter's chosen one isn't enough.

Other than that minor (or not so minor, depending on how you view such
things), an excellent fanfic.

I kept fearing my first full-length fic in quite some time would be
lacking.  Certainly, my larger projects have been stalled for
inspiration...  -_-
