Actually, it's supposed to be Rei in the chair.
No kidding?
Such is my information.
Hmmm. When I played the file on full screen, the one in the wheelchair
appeared to be dressed in green. Assuming Saban stayed true to the color
scheme, and the shots of the animated portions of the show that showed Sailor
Moon would seem to indicate that he did. (Amazingly enough), this would mean
that its Jupes in the chair, instead of Mars.
And just so you're warned: do a full fic on that, and I know several
SM fans who would run screaming in terror at the mere *thought* of any
legitimization of Saban's SM concept. But don't let that stop you.
Legitimize Saban? *Shudder* If somone told me he'd gone bankrupt, I'd
dance for joy. ^_^
There'd probably be many celebrations, especially if you happened to be
attending an anime con at the time.
No kidding. Still, in all fairness, Saban occasionally strikes gold. Power
Rangers had its good moments, and the "Around the World in 80 dreams" cartoon
was actually pretty good. Speaking of the Rangers, and if you have a few
hours to kill check out the Neoranger chapter of the webcomic Fanboy Otaku
Gamers Club (fogclub.keenspace.com). Now that's the way they should've been.
At least in my opinion.
Seriously, the concept of Lita, or Makoto, if you prefer, the most
physically
active of the Senshi, confined to a wheelchair when she's a civilan,
was too interesting to pass up. And I'm not talking the happy, peppy, PC
filled
Saban stuff. I'm talking about the basic, simple concept;
"You are Sailorjupiter."
"Alright! I'm healed!"
*Detransform*
Nope.
That's the interesting part.
True, that is interesting. Though the same injury could be acquired by
the normal Makoto.
I'm not sure I follow that.
This could be extended to the other senshi. For instance, say Haruka
started getting addicted to her increased power as Uranus, and started
sneaking in transformations just before her races to increase her own G
tolerance...
Except for the fact that she would then be running far faster then any human
is capable of and this would be noticed.
Haruka is, by the time she becomes Uranus, a track star of near Olympic
potential, possibly more. If the pens function as I believe they do, and
enhance physical capability(ie: strength, reflexes, endurance, agility), then
Haruka, as Uranus, could probably maintain a top speed of upwards 150mph with
a 0-60 acceleration of just under a second. Factor in the fact that neither
she nor Michiru are the type to hold back, and the secret would be out fairly
quick.
There's also the matter of Mich's feelings on the matter.
"Bad Haruka! No nookie"
^_^;
I'll shut up now...
