FYI, after the non-panel fanfic panel at AI'99, I emailed them to see if
they were going to have a panel for AI2K. Got a response that amounted to
"I guess so" from them, and so I volunteered to run it for them. So that's
how I ended up doing the panel at AI2K - I volunteered myself for it (first
to ask?).
