I doubt I'll have time to write a fic based on this anytime
soon so I thought I would cast it out upon the waters. ;-)

Set near / post the end of the Manga. Kasumi finds out from
Genma exactly what date Ranma and he were cursed.  She
decides to hold a 'cold water birthday' for Ranma to try to
give him a chance to accept his cursed form and remember
some of the good aspects.  Of course the usual guests and
gate crashers turn up but are kept (mostly) on best
behaviour by the full force of Kasumi's personality.

Birthday presents are chosen as appropriate for Ranma's
female side - and not always accepted in good grace.

Finally Kasumi gives Ranma her present - a cask of water
from the pool of young drowned man* and Ranma has to decide
whether he really wants to use it or not.

* - Obtained by the plot device of your choice ;-P

I think the most likely ending is Ranma deciding 'Damn right
I want to use it' but being foiled by (A stampeding elephant
/ Meteor strike / Akane getting accidently dunked in it /
Whatever)

Who knows, he might even be noble enough to offer it to
Ryoga.

Or practical enough to splash Taro with it ;-P

Anybody is welcome to use this if they think it's
interesting enough.

I don't want to get into the discussion on whether the
water would actually work or not - I think it is too likely
to turn into an out of control flame / spam thread o_O
