The funny part is that a recently started fic on ff.net does exactly this.
It's called Ranma 1/2 WHAT?! by Sarzana, and can be found at

Ouch. Technically my cousin Robin sent in those ideas on my
net account. Robin doesn't have access to the internet
except through my account. She often visits and read the
latest stuff of the FFML. Neither she or I have that site
though. The idea was original with her.

Also she meant what if there were two Ryoga's showing up,
one who got lost among the worlds, the other local. Although
we both  liked the version Raemouse had also.

I have seen a spamfic with the concept before sorta, Ryoga
exchanged curses and Ranma told Akane who trashed Ryoga.
Ryoga couldn't believe Ranma told her, it being more
courageous than he could be and more than he thought the
coward who ran away from the fight ( after three days of
waiting for Ryoga) could be either.

However she woke up much earlier than me today and sent in
her weird ideas.

Now me I would like to see someone do a world where both
Ranma Saotome and Ranma 1/2 exist. But neither Takahashi or
Ranma know of the other. Then one day Nabiki goes into a
manga store and sees a used copies of the series. She
discovers it covers recent events in Nerima. I just can't
figure where to go from there.
