What if an alternate Ryoga were to wander on the scene. One
who is a girl or with a substantially different curse. What
if he were carrying P-chan, who is someone else/something
else.

[Hmm... Ryouga falls into Spring of Drowned Girl, while Ranma falls into
Spring of Drowned Pig... you know, it could have potential.... the potential
to end up very, very weird. First day, panda and piglet walks into Tendo
home. Panda gets shooed off, while piglet, now called P-Chan, is adopted by
Akane. She then gives it a bath and -viola!- Ranma appears in tub. All hell
breaks loose, and the end result is a serious rift between the two teens,
probably irreparable. Meanwhile, Genma sneaks back inside and changes, then
explains the tragedy to Soun, and the engagement is out of the bag. Trying
to foist Ranma onto Akane is met with deadly force, and chaos ensues, when
the dust settles, Ranma is stuck with Akane. Wanting none of it, Ranma tries
to strike out to find a cure, but is forcibly restrained by Genma, and he
very reluctantly stays with the Tendos, though he is plotting to run off for
China as soon as possible.

[Akane is made to lead Ranma to school, and she likes her predicament less
and less. Reluctantly, she takes Ranma to Tofu's place when he gets soaked.
He changes back and gets to school to see the mob of boys waiting for
something. When they see Akane, all hell breaks loose. Ranma slaps a
pretty harsh insult on the young Tendo afterwards, and Kuno hears him. Once
he discovers Ranma lives in the Tendo Dojo, he challenges the pig-tailed boy
to combat.

[Kuno and Ranma fight, and the end result is canonical. However, Akane
doesn't follow Genma and the "perverted pig" and goes to class, barely making
it on time. Ranma really couldn't care less; once he has a cure, he'll kiss
his pig body goodbye. Kuno catches wind of the engagement from Nabiki
(carefully spinning herself out of the equation), and he goes to challenge a
lone Ranma standing in the hallway. They jump out the window, but Ranma
seemingly disappears, the only things left being his clothing, and since
Akane called him a pervert earlier, it leads to all sorts of wild accusations
about Ranma and his perceived sexuality; Kuno hears one of them--that Ranma
is trying to seduce him--and he gets completely nauseated. Meanwhile, a
little black pig goes home to the Tendo Dojo to change and plan harder on
escaping this looney bin.

[Meanwhile, Ryouga is hunting down Ranma, and when they meet, the usual fight
goes off as planned, but when the fountain sprays Ranma, Ryouga ends up
laughing at the poor lad. This results in him getting hit with cold water,
too, and he becomes a girl (probably redhead, though green does sound
interesting...). After applications of hot water, the blood hunt is called
off, and they plan to find a cure together.

[Ryouga meets Akane once as a girl, and she helps her around. The kindness
presented sends Ryouko (a quickly-thought up name for his girl side) into the
familiar path of blind devotion. But she doesn't know how to tell her about
his curse.

[The Black Rose story comes along, with a male Ranma saving the Furinken
Gymnast team from Kodachi. Immediate lovestruck, and she spirits away with
Ranma, paralysed. The effect wears off once inside of the Kuno estate, where
he meets Kuno himself. He approves his ounger sister as fit to date Ranma
(after all, she's a bit twisted himself, plus he hopes Kodachi can keep Ranma
as far away from him as possible, if the stories are true). Ranma tries to
run away, but ends up stumbling into Tatewaki, who really misinterprets
Saotome's intentions, and he goes from gross revulsion into a full-blown
fury, attacking Ranma without restraint. Fortunately, Ranma beats him down,
though not with an injury or two. Kodachi takes it upon herself to nurse him
back to health, and after another bout of paralysis, she takes him to the
bath house to get him all nice and clean. Once cold water hits him, he turns
into his little piglet form. Kodachi blinks, screams, then faints. Ranma
had never been so glad for having that stupid curse, and he books it as fast
as he can run. Once Kodachi awakens, she believes that someone cursed her
beloved, and she intends to find out who is so cruel as to do such a thing to
a demigod. But first, she has to take care of Akane; her newest opposition
in Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics.

[Earlier, Akane was approached by Furinken's gymnastics team to be their
savior. She agrees, though not knowing a thing about the sport, and after a
few spectacular failures, Ryouko agrees to help her learn. After the intense
workout, Ryouko gets lost, so Akane settles for a quick bath and then
prepares for bed, only to see Kodachi hanging from the rafters above with a
big mallet. Meanwhile, Ranma finally makes it home, though its pretty late.
He tries to change, but the hot water tap is broken. So he goes upstairs,
determined to find his bed and to just sleep off his insane life.
Unfortunately, he entered the wrong room (his brain's really fried), and he
just barely avoids being smashed by a huge mallet, squealing in indignation.
Kodachi pauses and looks to see Ranma in his cursed form. She promptly
forgets about Akane, who is confused by the change of events, until she lays
eyes on Ranma-pig. She becomes angry and acuses the cursed lad for trying to
sneak a peek on her, so she boots both Kodachi and the pig out of her room,
through the window. Kodachi recovers, with Ranma in hand, and starts
connecting the dots--somehow, the little harridan Akane is responsible for
her poor Ranma's curse. Now, she would have to work extra hard to free her
beloved's body to its original form by defeating Akane and forcing her to
relinquish Ranma. She goes home, and Ranma-pig is nervous about this decided
turn of events.

[Unlocking the curse was simple, thanks to a timely accident by one of the
servants. After Ranma had gotten clothes on, he tries to explain things to
the young lady, to no avail; she is now certain he is being manipulated by
Akane. Not one to give up, she promises to free her beloved from the pig
curse, even if it costs her the entire family fortune. This gives Ranma
pause; if he could convince her to fly him to China and rediscover Jusenkyou,
then his problems would be solved. So he plays up to her affections, feeling
a bit guilty for doing so, but deciding that the ends justifies the means.
Unfortunately, she is still convinced that Akane is the true source, so she
goes out to meet her again a week later. Akane does not fall on the ball
this time; with Ryouko's constant training, she learns almost everything
there is to MARG, and even devises a neat trick with objects lying on the
floor. Kodachi appears and makes a wager with the Tendo girl. They would
fight the next day, but if one lost, the other would have to give up her
rights to Ranma for good. Akane now wishes she didn't do all of that
practicing; she wouldn't throw the fight, but if she won, she would be stuck
with that pervert. The next day, the fight goes down; Kodachi ends up
winning, and Akane couldn't be more relieved...

[A few weeks later, Akane had been ruled out as the culprit for Ranma-sama's
curse, so she has every book in Tokyo than involves curses and magic found
and brought over to the mansion. For some reason, Jusenkyou could not be
found on any of the modern or historical maps, and Ranma had forgotten the
way there. The Black Rose had caught wind of two native Chinese women
rumored to be from that part of the country roaming the Nerima Ward.
Insistatly, Kodachi has the woman found and brought to the Kuno Estate. Once
Ranma sees who it is, he turns white as a sheet.

["Hello, Son-in-Law."

["Husband! Too too good to find you again! We make passion love, yes?"

[Somedays, it really doesn't pay to be Ranma....

[And that's all I'm making for that. Geez, I wish I had a fire like that lit
under my ass when it comes to my other stories...]
