Who knows.  When I was reading it, I thought it was going to go the route
of Romeo and Juliet and that they'd both die.  Good twist on it as it is,
though.  I got the impression there'd be more to this story later on, so
as long as it's interesting next chapter, I'll be happy.

    Actually, from the mention of dweomer, this may be some sort of fusion
with Katherine Kerr's Daggerspell/Darkspell series - if so, one of them
is going to die, and the surviving one, Akane, it seems, will take over the
role of Nevyn, waiting through life after life for Ranma to be reincanated.
Not quite for the same reason, though, and I hope it has a better resolution
than Nevyn's reunion with Jill.
