The single star in the middle of the Dragonball wobbled slightly
as the as an tremblor shook the ground, a minor one, the broken
teeth that made up the greatest city on the planet only rose
twenty meters in protest.
The huddled figure of the great planetary dragon grumbled to
itself as it lined up the four to slash the six in the bay.
"Heros, Psawh!"
A flashing light in caught his eyes, a flame the engulfed a
figure. The dragon's eyes widened, "Such power," it breathed.
the flames died and a figure that the dragon had glimced only
in precognitive dreams stood before it, "Cell!"
He laughed, a Drgon looking like a whipped puppy, what power
could have destroyed this place, Looking at you, a child is
all that would be needed.
The dragon gestured, "There is only one! No one has won, The
mightest of heroes tried. They failed. And yes, I suposse a
child is a good enough description."
"A challange, I do hope this hero proves amusing before I
aborb his power."
"Ahem." The sound was quiet, polite, resolute.
The dragon spoke helpfully, "It is a she."
Cell turned, the woman, no the girl, was wrapped in
darkness and a dark cloak and carried a staff wrapped
in cloths. "THAT ... THAT is the destroyer of heroes.
Tell me did the heroes still wear diapers? I want a
challange."
The figure stooped and picked up a Dragonball and
tossed it to the him. "They say that these collected
can grant wishes."
Cell grumbled, "Dragonballs, and you treat them so lightly.
Very well."
He took up a pose and started to chant. "I summon the Eternal
Dragon."
There was a flash, and like a king drawing on an old, half
forgotten cloak of state, the dragon drew the steam and smoke
of half a hundred volcanos around itself, lightning, drawn
from the heart of the Daystar silloetted it, a cautious half
muted cry, announced it.
Cell took an involuntary half step backward, then rallied,
"You know what I want, a challange, power to abosorb, to meet
my destiny."
The dragon sounded amused, "So many wishes, Oh well they are
all met in one." the Dragon turned to the figure who still
stood like a immobile dark shadow, ignoring the light and fury
of the scene before her."
Cell screamed and charged, striking with a blow that could
have shattered a mountain. The figure seemed to smile.
Cell screamed in pain as he drew on his power, raising it
to the power of a young god. He grinned then paused.
The figure stooped and turned as a flash of lightning
illuminated her violet eyes. "Cell-san, you are so
noisy. Silence marks the real end."
Cell barely opened his mouth to scream before the silence engulfed
him, consumed him, and took him.
Sailor Saturn pulled up her glaive and smiled ever so quietly.
"Dragon-sama, I thought heroes were drawn to your baubles.
Galaxia was more trouble and she lies just as silent. but still
he was enough."
The dragon gathered the Dragonballs together and coiled around
them protectively, then stopped at the tone in her voice. She
continued, "Silence Glaive Surp . . ."
The Dragon had a last chance to stare skyward, the stars were
flashing, then dimming, then like a flock of candle flames were
silently going out.
