Bouncing around as I cut into the backlog:
Some day, Mr. Sommer, you will conquer that backlog.
Some day.
:p
His companion grunted in a noncommittal manner,
A Legend of the Galactic Heroes/Birdy the Mighty fusion, obviously. You make
these things way too easy.
I've seen Birdy -- what's the other one about?
I'd write Metal Fighter Miku and mix it with Pokemon, but Angelic
Layer is already out, so that mystery fusion would be moot... ;)
Forgot 'aux' haven't you? :)
'ex'?
Nah. Mixing X/1999 into this would be... well, it has merit. Will
consider.
She imagined she probably looked silly when she thought about it,
posing so dramatically in nothing but her underwear -- and the gun.
I dunno. Sounds like a good pose to me. :)
I agree wholeheartedly. But it would probably scare away the kind of
boy she's looking for.
The wall behind her was lined with carefully maintained weaponry --
none of them loaded, of course. It was a hobby, though... and she did
have ammunition, hidden as that was.
bit awkward at the end. "hidden as it was' perhaps?
I think that technicaly, either would work... but your suggestion
flows better.

He glanced around the tavern warily. The majority of the men looked
like the rough type -- people he'd rather not mess with,
Date, perhaps, but not mess with.
...
Is there something you want to share with us?
help it. His taller companion was large himself, and somewhat rough...
But he liked rough sex. It was the one bit of kinkiness he allowed himself.
And the shaved cedar branches.
"They call her..." he paused for a moment, licking his lips. He
really should have gotten a drink before beginning the search. "They
call her 'The Breeze'?"
Because of the breeze that flows through her head when the wind blows.
"Oh, you mean Usagi. She's upstairs,' One of the men said.
There's a thought... But I already wrote the Sailor Moon/Silent
Mobius fusion...
The man drew closer, staring at it raptly. "The one with a cut down
.308 rifle round instead of the standard .44 clips?"
mag (Clip holds the gun in place.)
I learned something from this.
Never try and figure out technical details for yourself. I have
gotten over 40 e-mails telling me the various mechanisms involved with
slinging hot lead at people, and the proper terminoligy for their
respective components.
Not, of course, that I can retain any of that info for more than ten
seconds. :p
"Er..." he began nervously, gesturing to his larger companion, "this
is my partner, Otaki, and my name is Morisato Keiichi... I'm with the
Nekomi insurance society. Are you... Are you the one they call
'Belldandy the Breeze'?"
My mind seizes up at the images that invokes.
I'll call this fic a tenative success. :p
This was started, ironically, by the title first, which is rare for
me. I was at Foothill Anime (hello Foothill Anime peoples!), along with
a few friends, and we were examining photographs of the various
cosplayers at... ah... A-con, I think. Can't remember anymore. Anyway,
there was a shot of a couple dressed as Vash the stampede, and Belldandy
respectively.
Someone else made the comment of, "Oh, that's perfect! It's
Trigoddess!" And then the obvious, "Oh! My Gun!" response, and then
Carlos told me that I must make this mystery fusion. So I did! :p
Note that I was told, "Fanfiction is not a weapon," but failed to
listen. Gomen!
Cute piece.
Thanks! :)
