For some reason D. Fire's whole web page is down/offline. But his story
"Sword and Sorcery" is mirrored on BattleKrones's page at
http://members.nbci.com/Battlekrome/ (it's about halfway down the page, and
the links work)
BTW, try using Google http://www.google.com/ to find lost stories, it is
much quicker. Just enter enough key words to limit the results to what you
wanted. When my own link to Fire's page didn't work, I entered "Ranma D.
Fire sword and sorcery" and got at least a dozen places where fire's story
is archived or mirrored (he's one of the most popular Ranma fanfic writers
on the net). I have almost never failed to find a story using it IF I know
either the Author's name or Title. Even if this is not know, if you can
remember enough uncommon or unique words, events or phrases, you usually
still can find it with Google.
Hint, these things most be all in the same chapter or part of the story
and as close together for this to work. If I remembered a story where Ranma
was now Ranko, and was dating Ryouga, and played the Violin, and think that
at least one chapter of the story had all these elements in it, I would
enter "Ranma Ranko dating Ryouga violin" and get a link to Genma's Daghter
by D, Goldsmith (well worth reading!)
