Since he knows that his fate IS to be a megaplayboy, the operative portion
of the wish starts with I WISH. He lumps himself in with his descendents,
and does not specify the way in which they're to be of benefit to
mankind. (I have the specifics in mind, but I'd LOVE to here what other
authors would make of this wish.)
I see a small problem here... The wishes granted by Heaven in AMS can be
_anything_. Their effects are the result of direct divine intervention, so they
happen in spite of any factors that would normally be obstacles. So Junta can wish
to be just a normal person again, and not a mega-playboy, no matter what his previous
"destiny" was. In any story where the AMS cosmology is present, destiny comes from God
anyway, so he can change it if he wants...
Which isn't to say that Junta realizes this. As far as he knows, he has no choice
in his destiny. He could actually be screwing up Heavens attempt to fix the whole
MegaPlayboy problem here ;) If he learned that he was "fated" to be the MegaPlayboy
from another source, perhaps Mara or another demon even, then this could easily
happen.
His wish could result in derailing the plans of both Heaven and Hell, in that ultimately
his progeny will benefit mankind, yet they will still cause the overpopulation problems
described in DNA^2. With a hundred children and his descendents growing exponentially
each generation, they could rapidly push mankind into a new age of technology, medicine,
philosophy, and just about every other area of knowledge there is with this kind of wish
though :) On the other hand, the benefit could merely be a contribution to the genetic
pool as well, though I don't see that as being something that would be acknowledged and
rewarded. Then again, the wish part didn't specify that it would happen during the
children's lifetimes.
