Azusa wiped the tears of laughter from his eyes. "I must hand it
to you, Funaho. Sending Youshou's grandkid was a masterstroke. I
haven't laughed so hard in... centuries, it seems like."

Funaho and Misaki exchanged quick smiles over Azusa's head. "I'm
glad you think so, dear. And now that you're loosened up a
bit, shall we retire?"

*makes a mental note to, at some point in the future, reread
that with the intent of actually understanding it*

Radical Edward is from "Cowboy Bebop"; Alielle from "El Hazard";
Yume is from the Tenchi manga.
Pierson's Puppeteer by Larry Niven.

(snicker) Wondered if anyone would notice that one.

Numerous really funny bits, but the entire concept of "Hero
blunders his way
through labyrinth of politics" sets my teeth on edge. This is entire a
personal thing, tho, and anyone else would probably have enjoyed it.

*shrug* YMMV.

Hmmm... given such a setup, is there an alternate ending you'd
enjoy more? Like Washuu telling him what to say?

While Tenchi is largely a victim in these fics (along with Kiyone),
I just thought it time he begin to get a handle on things.

Anyway, if this concept sets your teeth on edge, I'm wondering
what doesn't?

But, at any rate, thanks for taking the time to read the story
and to write me.
