My computer more or less got fries during the storm yesterday.
Not so much from the storm itself, as it hadn't reached my area,
but from the intermitant series of blackouts that the storm
caused. If the power had just stayed off, or if it had come back
on long enough for me to shut my system down safely, it
would have been fine. As it is, I lost some important programs
and have to reboot the whole system.

In the mean time, a friend has come over with a portable drive
and archived my personal files so I don't lose anything. I just won't
have access to any of my fics to work on for at least a week or so.

This, of course, will delay things even further than my slow writing speed.
