KASUMI: Akane! Why is your name on Dr. Tofu's prescription?

Seriously, Dr. Tofu is a chiropractor and acupuncturist, not a general
practicioner or any other sort of doctor who'd be prescribing pills. I

suggest

you make up another doctor to use in place of Tofu here.

I'd agree with you on this 9 out of 10 times, but... man the medicine in
Japan.  Let's just say it sucks and it wouldn't surprise me if Tofu could
write a perscription.

     Actually, I seem to recall that in the initial Shampoo story, after Akane had been mindwiped,  he'd burst into the Tendo household with a book of formulae in hand which included the antidote to Formula 411 (Which was dubbed Formula 911) that he intended to use to cure Akane. Kasumi's presence thwarted that plan but it would seem from that incident that he does have a decent working knowledge of herbal remedies. Whether or not he has the *legal* right to is another matter of course but, quite frankly, if the Law ever came to Nerima my suspicion is that Kasumi and he are the only ones who wouldn't get carted away for one reason or another.
