                Alternate Universe


    Shinji Ikari was fast asleep.  Dreaming of many things.  It was a world 
which you could leave the hardships of the real world.  Right now Shinji was 
in a place he did noit know, but then again, that explains every dream.  Even 
if you are in a place that you know, it's still not the place.  It is part of 
a place, because you can't explore it, you just see diffenet pieces.  It was 
like another world entirely.  He didn't know what it meant, but it had to 
mean something, otherwise he wouldn't be here.  He was floating over water.  
The rest of the area was dark.  All he could see was the water floating 
underneith him.  Then the darkness began to disappears, the light began to 
bust through like after a rainstorm.  The scene was hard to descibe.  He 
couldn't even begin to explain it.  It was like he was floating in the 
heavens, yet it coul'dnt be because the water still existed.  He was stil 
floating over it.

    "Shinji..."

    Shinji perked .  Was someone calling his name?  Who was it?

    "Shinji..."

    "Yes?", he called out?  But there was no response.  Was he hearing 
things?  Then right in front of him out of nowhere, a women appeared.  She 
had long blue hair and was wearing a white dress.  She was the most beautiful 
thing Shinji had ever seen.  She had pale skin though, as if she was a ghost. 
 SHe turned around in shock as if something was about to happen, then she 
disappeared.  Then the sky faded, and Shinji was back in the darkness.  He 
couldn't unerstand any of it.  Then he heard the voice again.

    "Shinji..."

    "Shinji..."




    "Shinji you idot, wake up!!!  We're gonna be late again."

    Shinji opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was a red-haired, blue 
eyed girl standing angerly over him.

    "Asaka?"

    She walked over to the side of his bed.  "I came to wake you up."

    He looked at his childhood friend strangley.  "Why?"

    "Because I wanted to."

Yes it was inspired by the final episode of Genesis. That (dream sequence?) 
Shinji had when he released that diffenert fates existed.  Anyways it's based 
of Asuka being the childhood friend, Rei being the new student, etc.  I'd 
like to write about that, but I can't.  Should I delete this fic or is there 
any hope for it?  And has anyone made a story based on the smae element.  If 
they did, can you send it to me?  Thanks!
