All right, all right, I get the idea. It's a good fic,
write more, you'd better continue it or else I shoot 
this Luna-P ball...

Wow. I'm shocked at how many people sent me stuff on
the Goddess Reborn. Usually, the [orig] marker scares 
people away like a Dragon Ball Z yaoi lemon, (myself 
included, I am somewhat ashamed to admit) but I guess 
it was just a slow day or people were really bored or 
something.

Anyway, it's gonna take me a while to reply to 
everyone, but I WILL do it personally. If anyone else
wants to send me stuff on that teaser, well... I WILL
also reply to those.

I didn't want all the people who replied to me to feel
like I'm just ignoring them, though so I put together 
a kind of mini-faq for any questions that were asked 
more than four times. Once again, I repeat that I WILL
get back to everyone personally, it just might take me
a week or more until I get settled into my new base.


CAN YOU HANDLE THIS STORY? IT'S GOT A LOT OF PROMISE,
BUT... (insert various examples of stories with lots
of promise that went awry here)

Yes, I CAN do it. *sigh* If I couldn't write the damn 
thing and live up to its potential, then I wouldn't 
have posted the teaser until I WAS ready.

WHY IS THE MAIN CHARACTER SEVENTEEN? IDEAL RECRUITMENT
AGE FOR MAGICAL GIRLS IS BETWEEN 9-14.

Because writing a character that age is just SO easy!

In all seriousness, I didn't even think about why that
age until almost everyone questioned me about it. But
there is a reason, hidden in my own subconscious...

It has to do with suspension of disbelief. 

If you tell a thirteen-year-old girl that she's a 
Star Princess, give her some kewl magical powers and a
talking pet, and have some older guy show up to haul
her buns out of the fire occasionally and pose 
prettily while doing it, she'll accept it with almost 
no qualms (at least according to Anime Canon). 

If you tell someone older, who's had time to form an 
opinion about who she really is and what she wants to 
do with her life, that all of a sudden she's in charge
of the entire world's destiny, has phenomenal cosmic
powers, and that she isn't even human, she's going to 
look on it with a grain of salt and ask that all-
important question, "Why?"

'Why' is what I'm going to find out...

WHAT DOES MAHO SHOJO MEAN?

I've spoken pidgin nihongo for so long that I forget
other people don't. It means Magical Girl. For those
whom I've already replied to and answered this 
question, I didn't mean to sound like an arrogant
jerk.

WHY DIDN'T YOU USE DRAWN OUT VOWELS IN 'MAHOU SHOUJO'?

To see if anyone cared... I suppose this is the 
other end of the spectrum represented by the question
above. Not that there's anything wrong with either
end.
We just have to realize that there's a broad audience
of people subscribed to the list (or maybe I'm the
only
one that didn't get it...)

DO YOU NEED PREREADERS FOR THIS?

Of course! But I can be kinda hard on my prereaders, 
because if you take more than four or five days to
read
a part, I've usually moved on, as some of my other 
friends could tell you... ^_^;; Sorry, Jenny-Chan!

WERE YOU SERIOUS WHEN YOU SAID THE MASCOT MIGHT BE A 
CHIBI-LAVOS?!?!

No, I wasn't. But it was the seed of a germ that led 
to the hint which gave me an idea for the actual 
mascot. 

JUST HOW DARK WILL THIS BE?

This thing is NOT going to be all angst and misery and
"Oh, no, I'm going to destroy the world! Should I...
end it all?" That ain't my style, and to be honest, it
gets kinda boring after about 50k or so.

WHEN WILL THE NEXT PART BE OUT?

Got me. Probably it'll be done by the end of next
week.
Once I get started on a chapter, it usually only takes

me two days, at most, to finish it. The problem is, of
course, finding the time and the gumption to get 
started!
