within earshot.  "Dummkopf!  He can't even get the rhythm right!  Why
do I have to work with him?!"

"I'm sorry, Asuka," Shinji whimpered.  "I'm just not cut out for this..."

Misato took a sip of her beer and set it down.  "We thought it was the
best way to do synchronization training.  Now keep going, I don't want
to hear another peep out of you two."

Asuka sighed and punched the button.
