Err...did you mean to send to ffml@fanfics.com instead of
?  The former doesn't exist, to my knowledge.

Doh!

Keep it.  I love it.

But what about poor Minako?  I can't really see Minako -"Oh ho ho ho!
Venus love me ribbon!"- as Kodachi.  Erm, maybe, ....  O_O;;

I can, quite easily.  ^_^

Somehow Minako as Shampoo and Makoto as Kodachi makes a little more
sense to me, although portraying the Titan as an Amazon and Mamoru
playing Tatewaki to Minako's Kodachi does work well too.

And that's the thing.  Shampoo, the combat veteran, work with Minako or
Makoto, but Kodachi involves a concentrated insanity that only Minako
can really pull off.  (Maybe Rei could too, but no one else, not even
Makoto, has the unleashed anger that is Akane.)

As for Tatewaki...well, both Mamoru and Minako have used swords in
canon (though Minako only in the manga).

Good points.

<shrugs> It just struck me that, with all the senshi-x-senshi pairings
out there, a Ranma-like situation was bound to crop up eventually.

(Along with the Tenchi-like situation, where the senshi fight over
Usagi without formalities and possibly wind up sharing their prize,
but I think I may have seen that done before.)

I'm not sure.  If there are some good fics like that I'd like to see them.

Ditto!

I wish I could help you search, but the truth is that I've just seen so
many over the years that I've never had to bother looking.  (Unless I
were to plug my own lemon "Learning to Love", but it's not really a
"pairing".)

I've seen quite a few senshi-x-senshi myself.  I just can't remember
what most were called, who wrote them or where they were.  The plots
kind of stick in my head though ....

Eventually, maybe.  But think of the reactions they would have at first.

"So, you mean that (they) are my personal sex slaves?  Cool!"
- Sadie Masochism (paraphrased).

.)

Isn't that a plot summary of the Sailor Moon hentai ripoff "Venus 5"?

Close; it's a quote from the Sailor Moon hentai fanfiction 'Sadie
Masochism'; which probably shares its plot with quite a lot of SM
lemons.  As you've pointed out, there are a lot of senshi-x-senshi
pairings out there, and quite a few where the senshi were, or are,
Usagi's harem.

I think this is the first time I've seen it done as a Ranma fusion.
Usually Ranma is fused with Sailor Moon element, not the other way
around.

From:  Adrian Tymes <wingcat@pacbell.net>

"Whaaaat?"

Queen Serenity sighed.  "It's a long tradition in our family.  The
reigning princess always becomes the lifemate of one of the protectors
of the inner planets.  It's ohe of the ways we keep the peace."

"But...but...how can I become queen and have an heir if I'm married to
another girl?"

If Serenity Jr. was complaning about being forced to marry a woman,
doesn't that mean that having all-female senshi was an exception and
not the rule?  After all, she could hardly fail to notice if her mother
was married to a woman!

Possibilities:

A. You're right.

(Nods) Of course.  .)

B. She never thought about it before.

That's quite posible too; especially with Usagi/Serenity.

C. She's only seen her mother doing it with men, especially if the
elder Serenity viewed bonding with her lifemate as something worthy
  of more privacy.

She's only seen ... what?  Doing it with men is a public affair?????

Exactly what kind of society were you thinking of?  Decadent Imperial
Roman?

"Oh, don't worry, we'll find you some cute male from Earth to breed
with."  She smiled and licked her lips, remembering her own suitors in
her day.

Oh!

"That's alight then, but does it have to be her?  She's mean!"

Right.  Definitely been raised with easy morals.

Now, THAT could place an interesting spin on the cause of the Beryl
wars!  Reighteous moral indignation!  O_o!

Imagine if Beryl wasn't just jealous over the Moon princess marrying
the Earth prince, as in the cannon, but upset over her lover, or
fiance (possibly even husband!), being 'taken' to be a stud.

I've seen a few fics where the Silver Millenium was portrayed as having
been build on the backs of Earth slave labor, with Beryl leading a
rebellion.

I've seen a few of those about too.  It's a tempting to think of the
moon cat's version of history as a sugar-coated fairytale hiding a
dark centre, for some reason.

I vaguely recall a senario where the senshi were originally the
mind-controlled puppets of the Moon Queen, acting as storm troopers
while living in a fantasy world, and Beryl and the Generals sincerly
believed they were fighting on the side of good.

Then, of course, she and the four Generals could play the roles of
Ryoga/Mousse/Tatewaki in this fusion.  Fighting to 'save' their 'loves'
from the 'evil sorceress Serenity'.

It is canon (at least in the manga) that, in their prior incarnations,
the Generals and the senshi were lovers, paired one to one.  History as
written by the victors (the moon cats, I believe) was that the Generals
were corrupted by Beryl.  Which would be precisely what they would say,
if they still believed the Moon Kingdom was in the right but the
Generals gave a receptive ear to Beryl's pleas.

That's canonical?  I always thought it was just a cliche?

Whatever, it works very well here.  Too well to pass up.

I am working (slowly) on a fanfic which has Usagi-Serenity as the
benevolent overlord of Crystal Tokyo, only to see her own senshi revolt
in the name of freedom.  It's going to be a while before it's ready,
though.

In a future life, two shards of the same person would grow up to lead
very different lives.  Only one would get the skills of fighting, and
only one would get the skills of love.
...
In fact, many of the shards would seem like someone put them in a
blender set on puree.

If this means what I think it does ... what if the twain were to meet?

In this case, it would be an Ami-Akane, Rei-Ukyo, complement not the
obvious Ami-Ukyo, Rei-Akane pairing I first thought.  Ie, with Akane
getting all the hot temper and Ami getting the cool logic when the
reincarnated souls split, etc..  The Minako-Kodachi, Makoto-Shampoo
split also makes a bit more sense this way.

Then if they were to meet and, maybe, merge?

Actually, here, Ami-Ukyo and Rei-Akane still makes sense.  Ami and Ukyo
share the original's patience and the rationality; Rei and Akane share
a temper (each one gets a shorter piece).

Hmm.  I was thinking more along the lines of senshi being split into
complementary pairs; with each being out of balance without their other
half.

Princess Ranko Serenity, last of the Moon Kingdom.

Not coming soon to a fanfic list near you.

I've got enough projects right now.  Though I do try to encourage those
who really like certain ideas I come up with but can't pursue myself to
do them.  After all, if I can't use an idea, it's worthless to me by
definition...  ^_-

I hear that.  Still, whenever you finish off a few of your current
projects, I vote this one as one to pick up. :)
