Ranma crawled out of the debris,he shook the dust from his cloathes and stood up his pigtail rustling in the wind. Dust appeared to accumulate everywhere as the martial artist surveyed what was once Tokyo. He shook his head as he bent down over the hole he crawled out of and extended his hand inside. A slender pair of hands attatched themselves to the young martial artist's arms and were lifted off the ground, revealing a young girl of the same age as Ranma, who looked in bewilderment at her surroundings.... She fell to her knees and tears began to accumulate in her eyes... "Is this..." she began to ask as she sobbed uncontrolably on her hands, unable to complete her sentence. She only stopped and looked up when she felt Ranma's hand on her shoulder. He was smiling down on her, lending her his strength and will to live. "Don't worry Akane-chan, it'll be back someday, we'll rebuild and Tokyo will be back, bigger and better, you'll see." She nodded and got up, they kissed !
and looked beyond. Looking at the future in the horizon on their minds, the day that Tokyo will rise again. "But Ranma, did you have to practice your technique here?" she asked suddenly. Ranma blinked rapidly, then putting his hand behind his head he nervously tugged at his pig-tail and laughed. "You know something... I never thought of that..."he said, appearing embarassed by his stupidity. As the sun set a voice could be heard over the ruins of Tokyo shouting "RANMA NO BAKAAAAAAA!!!!!"
Seriously, the list has suffered worse stuff before. It'll be back, so chin up minna!!!!
