Dang, but it has...
The FFML has been a constant source of insperation
and pride for me, along with one of the few things
that I've really enjoyed. While I doubt the whole
thing was completely mutual (I can still hear most of
you wondering who this guy is...) I wouldn't have
traded it for anything.
And, since this could very well be the last time I
see some of you for a while, I suppose I can squeal
like a fanboy for a bit.
I never read all of the messages the list sent to
me. I'd read almost half, when it was a good day. But
not once did I ever come across something bad.
Of those stories, I replied to probubly less than a
quarter. Most of the time, it was because I simply
felt that my points would be brought up by someone
else.
I still feel guilty about that. Here are legends in
the making, and I can see them grow from ideas to
towering giants, but I stand silently.
Maybe I'll have more guts next time.
Lurker... while I never really agreed with your
perspectives, I can't help but stand in awe of your
talents. Your pieces, especially within Ultra, are
simply beautiful.
Leifker... I sent you a few messages way back when,
pure ego stroking stuff. I ment ever word then, and I
still do now. I've changed computers three times, and
I still have a copy of Iris.
Larry F... if I've had a mentor on this list, it's
you. No one, and I mean no one, has taught me to work
with my stories as much as you have. Thank you.
Wanderer D... Digisouls kicked ass. Still waiting to
see more, by the way.
Finally, considering that essentially, there is no
tomarrow for much of this list, I'm going to send out
the last piece of my Lost tonight. It'll be largely un
proofread, but I promised I'd get it done.
One last thing, ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you, for sharing your dreams and stories.
And thanks for putting up with mine when I was brave
enough to speak up. ^_^
Zalabar
"You know... I know this isn't the end. But I still
can't help but ask... will we meet again?"
