You're a firm believer in kicking people square in
the nads, aren't you, Linda?
*sighs* My mother died over three years ago. It'll
be four years come this August. I thought I was totally over
it. I even smile and laugh again. And with one short scene
you bring back every stinking moment of pain and grief.
I might not like you much, Linda. But I've always
tried to be honest with myself, and that honestly compels
me to tell you that you're a very gifted writer when you
want to be.
Keep writing. I'll keep reading. I might not want to,
but I owe it to you, and to myself, to support a good author.
And you're good. A bad author couldn't make me hurt
this much.
