It might have been in the Tenchi in Tokyo series - I've not watched it, 

so I can't say for sure.



However, it's shown in the "Tenchi Muyo in Love" movie that Noboyuki 

was a rather skilled artist (as far as architechtural drawings went, at 

least) when he was in high school - perhaps Tenchi inheritted the 

talent?
