Ranma dies saving Akane from Saffron. After a few days Akane is in hell. She
won't talk to anyone and refuses to come out of her room. She finally
emerges and goes for a walk. She is walking on the sidewalk and gets hit by
a bolt of lightning. She passes out and then comes to. She goes back to the
dojo and Kasumi is the only one there. She is distressed at Akane's state.
She gets Akane to lie down and ask if she can get her anything. Akane says
that since Ranma is dead she doesn't want anything. Kasumi just stares at
her and ask what she meant by Ranma being dead. Akane just looks at her and
says Ranma died from saving her at Phoenix Mountain. Kasumi just stares at
Akane some more and then calls Dr. Tofu telling him that Akane has gone mad.
Dr. Tofu ask what she is talking about and she tells him. There is a long
silence and then he says he'll be right over. Awhile later he shows up at
the dojo with two unexpected people. He goes in and sees Akane on the couch.
He just stares at her and looks behind him and then stares at her some more.
One of the people steps forward and Akane sees him. She turns white as a
sheet and just stares at him. Then she throws herself on Ranma and babbles
about ho she's glad he's still alive , that she thought she'd lost him
forever , and about how she loves him. Ranma is just staring at Akane and
wondering what the heck is going on. Akane looks up at Ranma and sees him
looking behind him. She looks behind him and sees the Doc. Then she sees the
person standing next to him. She just stares at her and the person does the
same. Akane is now looking right at herself. This is too much for her. She
faints. Ranma sets her down on the couch. Then he looks at the other Akane
and then back at the Akane on the couch and ask what is happening around
here now.
You're probaly wondering two Akane's? Well one of them is from a Universe
where Ranma died and the other is in a Universe where everything is just
like the cannon. Other Akane or O-Akane was sent there when the lightning
bolt hit her.
