A girl of Ancient name will choose a husband and together they shall rule
their world and their son shall choose a wife and together they shall rule
the universe.
On this world, unbeknownst to her, the girl of the prophecy, Princess Lyssa
chose for her husband the son of her father's enemy, Colwyn, Prince of the
neighboring kingdom. Soon an ancient and evil power would realize that the
prophecy would soon begin to pass and affect the entire universe. This
entity was known only as the Beast.
You see on their world a kind of crystalline magic reigns supreme and can be
transferred from one person to another through rituals and this would unify
Lyssa and Colwyn's people through the power of their love. It was during the
exchange of vows that the Beast attacked with a vengeance. He sent in his
army of slayers and changelings who under orders kidnapped Lyssa before the
exchange could be made and then killed everyone in the castle.
After they had all left an old man, a wizard named Ynyr came in and using
his power brought Colwyn back to life so that he may rescue his Princess
with the help of a weapon he must first retrieve. The Glaive. This weapon is
a five pointed weapon that when used can drain the magic energy from anyone
or anything it attacks. Colwyn succeeded in retrieving it from its fiery
volcano resting place and headed off to the Black fortress with an army of
20 men led by Torquil a bandit with integrity that others have never seen.
In seeking the whereabouts of the Beast's lair, The Black Fortress, they
would seek the knowledge of the Widow of the Web. Ynyr knew this extremely
powerful woman long ago and the sacrifice for both of them would be high. In
obtaining the knowledge both Ynyr and the widow whose name was also Lyssa
would die giving up their knowledge and power to Lyssa and Colwyn. Those who
were left succeeded in breaking in and rescuing the Princess, but as they
were trying to escape Colwyn and Lyssa were trapped in a room with the
Beast.
Colwyn would succeed in knocking down the Beast and draining much away from
him by ways of magic and life energy severely wounding the monster. But in
the process Colwyn would lose the Glaive leaving him and Lyssa defenseless.
Before he could continue trying to fight this all powerful being Lyssa
stopped him....
"with this fire I give it only to the man I choose as my husband"
A fire appeared in Lyssa's open palm and Colwyn closed his hand over and the
fire surged through his body magnifying it 1000 times over and as the Beast
prepared to launch out another attack Colwyn succeeded in not only
counteracting it but reversing his own attack on him. This attack killed the
Beast as the searing fire of Colwyn and Lyssa's love went through him
destroying his evil heart.

19 years has elapsed since then and they have a 17 year old son Ynyr named
after the magician. Ynyr has been having some weird dreams of late. He has
dreamed of a pig-tailed black haired blue eyed boy fighting incredible
battles. He has dreamed of a blonde haired blue eyed girl in a short skirt
destroying monsters. He has dreamed of a black haired dark eyed boy with a
small pig-tail battling a yellow eyed man with great power. He has dreamed
of a brown haired ? eyed girl with a weird hairstyle battling an evil Queen.
He has dreamed of a world seen from space and he knows it is not his. His
people have a way of using the great crystal that were recently discovered
to observe other worlds. They have no way of going there yet.
