But I'll also note that anything multi-chapter, the level of C&C plummets
like a rock. My recent Photo Sticker Quest got ten times the amount of
commentary most of my work does. Short stories, people will comment on,
longer stories, they have a hard time keeping up a steady stream.
Which doesn't stop me writing long stories, but...

It couldn't have something to do with the fact that people get on the FFML
to read fanfiction (what you call unoriginal ideas), could it? Gosh, that
wouldn't be part of the list's name or anything. No, of course not. But
insulting people's taste in stories certainly isn't going to help you get
C&C.
Perhaps when you learn to not randomly insult the bulk of the population,
you might get some C&C.
