Indeed. A very good fic - got a helluva chuckle out of it. Especially
since I remember playing Zork and all those other text-based games, and
this fic seems to catch the quirky humor of both the games and the Love
Hina anime rather well.
Thanks! This is my third story in this style, and my next one like this
will probably be an Utena one.
Hmmm... I must have missed your first two... are they available for public
consupmtion?
This was *very* funny, John. I loved the Zork references, and even though
it was set in a 'player' style, the characterization was pretty much dead
on, even for Kei-kun. (I love watching him waffling over Mitsumi and Naru...)
It's also worth considering that while you cast this in the style of an
Infocomm text adventure, Love Hina is very closely based on all the
'Relationship Simulation' RPG games that are very popular in Japan but
never make it to the US. Your style also manages to capture this aspect,
even if it
wasn't intentional. (I suspect it was. ^_^)
Lastly: FINALLY! LOVE HINA FANFICTION!!! WHOOHOO!
Thanks for sharing!
