Child. This story is considered an ORIGINAL FICTION,
all characters used are actually original and not from
the anime's their first names come from. to
understand this better, it is best if you read the
Prologue. I have done the first two parts as well,
but have delayed the postings so I don't overwhelm
peoples mailboxes, I will be posting part 1 in two
days and part 2 two days after, otherwise any part
following after that will we posted when finished.

Alternate Life Intro
Hello, my name is Jon. I am here to describe a
nightmare I had one nght, only I won't be just telling
you what happened directly, instead I am putting it in
the form of a story. I have no idea what the dream
meant at the time I wrote this, but I hope to have
some meaning for it by the end of the whole thing. I
will note now that the characters involved are not
similar the characters from the anime's they come
from, they are original characters from this point on.
Some of the stuff you are about to read may not comply
with the known laws of physics, but remember, this was
a dream, so reality doesn't truly exist. Now then, I
have given you my reason for this fiction that
basically will be a series.
How did it all start? Well, before I get in to the
beginning, there are a few things you should know
first about what causes the events to occur. It all
started the year John F. Kennedy was killed, only in
this timeline the bullet missed him and he lived. The
result of this triggered a series of events that lead
to war breaking out. The first thing JFK did was
signed something called the "Declaration for
Vengeance". In this declaration, three things were
listed to have happened: A ban was placed on all
sciences, stricter penalties on assassins, and a halt
to peace treaties for countries at war. The first two
items were put in place because it was discovered a
scientist from Germany tried to kill JFK, and the
third item was put in place to end all treaties that
could have proved to be a weakness for the U.S. It
was said the declaration was co-signed by Richard
Nixon, the reason behind that is not known at this
time.
After 10 years had gone by, Russia had gone to war.
According to history, they asked for help in fighting
other countries after Germany, Japan, and China turned
against them. When the U.S. refused to help out, the
Russian government considered this to be unfair,
resulting in the killing of Americans visiting Russia,
the U.S. considered this to be an act of war. A year
later, the U.S. had hurried in developing more
destructive weapons to end the war for good with
Russia, but the idea backfired since a total of five
countries had nuclear weapons during that period. The
end result was a horrible price to pay for many
counties, France ended up being unlivable, Germany was
in shambles, Japan didn't exist afterwards, Russia
became a wasteland, and the U.S. had suffered the loss
of 41 cities. It wasn't until years later that other
countries became too polluted to live in because of
fallout. Half of Europe was useless, Russia was
considered a major hot-zone, China and neighboring
countries were considered the refugee spots for people
forced out of their native countries, and the northern
half of Africa was considered a hazardous place to
live. The country that was said to best in the best
shape from the war was the U.S. since cleanup was
easiest there, but it still had lost L.A., New York,
Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Miami, Washington
D.C., Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Denver to the war.
The final problem that the world was facing was that
all of the air was now 1% radioactive, resulting in
cancer being a major problem, but in the late 1990's
cancer was considered the least painful way to die.
As the world began to recover some, the U.S was
without a leader until 2001, when someone decided to
take charge. This resulted in more problems since the
government had fallen apart years before, the end
result was a country divided, the city that the dream
took place in was Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was here
that the most stable government was formed, but the
city was still in chaos, crimes were common until 2009
when structured organizations were formed for
government, it was considered to be the fairest
government, but everyone suffered because of it. Mob
rule and crime syndicates divided the city up for
years.
When 2013 came around only a few syndicates remained,
they were considered to be dying since most people
considered themselves to be independent of them, and
during this time, the sciences had come back,
triggering research into how people could survive the
radioactive air better. One company, BIOSYS, had been
formed late that year for the research, the people
involved were considered mankind's hope for recovery.
Once 2015 had arrived, people started to feel somewhat
safe again living in the city, even to the point that
some lived in the suburbs and rural areas again, but
one problem that remained was a syndicate still
remained, one that wanted to gain control of the city.
After 5 years had passed, Minneapolis was considered
the best place to live, life had pretty much returned
to normal. BIOSYS had cured some cancers by this
time, allowing people to live longer lives. Then two
years later, a company formed by the remaining
syndicate known as DAMNATION had been exposed to the
public eye when they attacked the city, but there
efforts were not successful and they ended up
regrouping, with a new leader.
We now reach the point where the dream started out,
crime has become a problem again, and a few people to
prevent DAMNATION from gaining power have formed a
secret company, this company is known as REISON. I am
the leader of REISON, my friends and I are the only
ones that know what DAMNATION is planning to do, and
we see ourselves as the only ones that can stop them.
My family works for BIOSYS and they are some of the
few that are aware of REISON. If DAMNATION were to
ever gain power, it could be all over for the city.
